በተለምዶ ስታድየሙ በእግር ኳስ እና በአትሌቲክስ ውድድሮች ላይ ይጠቀማል። በዋናነት አዲስ አበባ ስታድየም እየተገጠመ እንደሆነ ወይም በሌላ መስክ ላይ እያገለገለ ከሆነ በዚህ መስክ ውድድሮች ይካሄዳሉ። የመኝታ ችሎታው በአካባቢ 25,000 ተመልካቾችን ይይዛል።
