You’d be forgiven for thinking you were on a tropical island if it wasn’t for the chilly winds. I’m sure all reviews have mentioned the large inquisitive colonies of Gentoo Penguins that call this place home all year round. Dolphins and sea-lions can also be spotted by the patient water viewer.

Hell of a walk nowadays!!!! Hell of a walk! You can’t drive down to the car park now so it’s a 15km round trip! Worth it to see the penguins 🐧 tho! They are there all year round.

Quite a distance from Stanley but rewarded with a great Gentoo rookery and pristine beach!
