Wainibau Falls — Attraction in Northern

Hi guys

You drive until the end of the gravel road there is a village. There is a house to the sea side where you register and pay entrance fee for the park. You can take a guide it costs 20 fjd to get to the falls. We did take a guide but it was not necessary. The way is easy to find. We hiked in sandals no problem. Time to get to the falls one way around 70 minutes.

The local community has constructed a rest stop for hikers on their way to Weinbau Falls. It includes toilets and picnic tables. Stunning waterfall for which the pictures don't do justice. To fully appreciate them, you must swim upstream through a rock passage after which the pool and falls open up. It almost doesn't seem real. Truly a special and unique place worth the effort...
