What a Beautiful Location! The surrounding nature is lush, wild, and full of adventure. The ziplining was exhilarating! We took a taxi from our resort to the Sleeping Giant Zipline and opted for the full package: $199 per adult and $149 per child. This included unlimited ziplining across 7 lines, a scenic hike to a stunning waterfall, and lunch (we chose a cheese pizza and a deli sandwich with a drink). The hike to the waterfall was kid-friendly, and the destination was well worth it. My family and I had a fantastic time refreshing in the water. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the day, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. One staff member even offered to take photos and videos of our family while ziplining, while another made sure our 8-year-old had a blast on all 7 lines. The warmth and friendliness of the Fijian people truly made the experience unforgettable. Special thanks to Kevin and Soni, who helped arrange our return to the resort. Their tour van dropped us on the main road, and the driver coordinated a taxi to take us back, making the end of the day completely stress-free. Overall, this is a fantastic day out for families. Highly recommended!

Very Disappointing Experience – Rude Owner and No Clear Pricing I visited the Sleeping Giant Zipline in Fiji today, and I have to say it was a very unpleasant experience. There were no clear signs at the entrance stating that there was an entry fee, so we walked in thinking it was a public park or tourist area. To our surprise, the owner started shouting at guests inside the park, demanding everyone go to the service counter and pay. His attitude was extremely rude and aggressive, which made many visitors uncomfortable. What made it worse was that there were still no signs showing how much anything cost. It felt like a trap – no transparency at all. On top of that, the layout of the park was confusing. There were no signs indicating where the reception was, where the entrance or exit points were, or even how to find basic facilities. It was completely disorganized. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in a place that claims to be a tourist destination. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The management seriously needs to improve their customer service and clearly display all pricing, directions, and policies at the entrance.

The Sleeping Giant’s story dates back more than 210 million years; far too long for anyone to capture in its entirety. Nestled among the hundreds of native plants, trees, and orchids flows a freezing river. There are various terraces with small waterfalls. The river is deceptively deep in certain places, some say 8m deep or more, and one has to be very careful. The current is quite strong. Next to the river they have made a beautiful rest area where you can enjoy a cold drink or delicious pizza. You can also climb to the top and zipline down while admiring the incredible views. There is also a much bigger waterfall that is apparently amazing, but a bit of a steep climb and wading through water to get there. It is a great adventure park or a place to dip in the cold water on hot and humid days. Specific mention to Elizabeth. She climb into the water to help me in, and to Api who helped me out. I have some mobility issues and without them, I wouldn't have had this wonderful experience.

The zip line itself was great and the instructors and guides couldn’t have been more pleasant. We paid for two $199 FJD zip line fees which was to include free transfers to Denaru hotels. When I originally set up the reservation via phone, I told them we were at Vuda Marina and not Denaru, they were happy to pick us up from there. All is well, for now. After we finished, we then asked the staff if we were able to be driven to Lautoka instead of our original return destination (Vuda Marina), and they happily obliged without any hesitation or mention of any extra fees. When we arrived in Lautoka, our driver said he would actually wait for us if we needed a ride back to Vuda Marina (we only stayed in Lautoka for about 30 minutes), to which we said sure (we of course assumed because this was now a third ride that we would have to pay for it). After we were picked up again and driven to our final destination, the driver insisted we pay for two rides at $25 fjd a piece, one for the ride to Lautoka, and one for the even shorter ride back to Vuda Marina, completely ignoring the fact that one of them was supposed to be a free transfer. And even if there was suppose to have been an extra fee, no one on the staff or the driver himself ever mentioned anything about an extra fee before getting into the taxi for the ride home, otherwise maybe we wouldn’t have been so caught of guard. Of course we called the driver out on this and told him what he’s doing isn’t right. When we called the company’s management to explain the situation that had just happened, the two different men that we spoke to, both in managerial positions, were unwilling to actually listen to us warning them that their drivers were trying to make an extra buck and take advantage of paying customers. At one point, one of them actually started yelling STOP repeatedly over and over to get me to just stop talking so he could try to arrange a refund because, and I quote, “that’s why you’re calling me, because you want a refund, right?” with an incredibly condescending tone. The fact is neither one of us actually cared about getting the money back. We were simply trying to inform them that a driver of theirs was trying to take advantage of two paying customers in hopes to get an extra buck out of the situation. Had they just listened and both of them not hung up on us during our calls with them (yes this actually happened on both calls while I was speaking), I wouldn’t have to be writing this rather pathetic review. So, while the experience itself was fine, let this review be a warning to future customers. The management clearly isn’t interested in hearing customer complaints, ones that were intended to notify the company that their drivers could be harming their reputation, and instead single handedly tarnished their own reputation. Hopefully this lack of empathy doesn’t also trickle down onto their employees, who were actually very decent, generous people. We obviously will not ever be coming back, and would highly consider you find another zip line company if you’re looking to avoid both a potential scam and supporting some rather wretched, uncompromising...

Ziplining was fun and the guides were nice, but the problem is the way the business treats customers who have chosen to pay for the Zipline Tour only, and not the Waterfall Walk Tour Add-on. Their website says that the $150 Zipline- only tour goes for 6 hours inclusive of the drive; with pick up from Denarau hotel at 10am this suggests a return by 4pm. (Note the drive from Denarau Island takes about 50-60 mins each way).

We had chosen to skip the Waterfall Tour as we didn’t want to pay another $50pp because we’d done a waterfall swim during river-tubing on the Coral Coast, (which was advised to the company at least 4 days in advance when booking). It was then a shock and a major disappointment and inconvenience that the Company made those who didn’t pay for the Waterfall tour add-on just wait at the site, until the ones who did the extra tour had walked up, had their swims, hiked back, And then….. let those people all go on the zip lines again! So instead of being returned to the hotel after the Zipline tour was over, stuck waiting for almost 2 hours, bored, hot, and desperate to get back to hotel but despite asking the company, were told that they’d have to wait until the waterfall group had not just finished swimming but also another round of Ziplining.

No other way back to the hotel without the company’s transfers that were part of the tour cost…. forced to be bored waiting for over 2 hours for the waterfall group to return. What a sh*t-show. Ruined an otherwise great morning, and wasted precious time left in Fiji.

Unprofessional and disappointing. If this is the only way they can run their transfers at least tell customers in advance so they can make an informed decision whether to do the...

We came here for half day trip because we had one day before leaving to Yasawa islands. I must say that we did not know what to expect and we though it might be little boring but it was really great fun!! Stasf was soooooooooo amazing that it was even hard for us to leave because everyone was soo friendly and they remembered our names nad we just really had fun as we were friends. You have simple lunch included in trip. Is good to arrive early as after while it can actually get little crowded. Main instructor Nassoni ( not sure if I got it right) well - Nas he is absolute LEGEND!! He gave us also some really good advice before travelling to islands so just dont be shy and asked them for any helpful tips - they are happy to help. After our zipline we went for waterfall trek - if you can do not wait for travel guide just asked staff which way to go. If you manage to be there first you will enjoy time for private swimming in waterfall and if you are a photographer you will have it all free for you. After it get really packed as it is not too big spot :) Overal - we would love to recommend this to everyone as all day was fun and seriously staff is absolutely amazing. oh by the way if you get a lot of mosquito bites make sure you come in long trousers, they will provide litres of repellent there for free but if you have problem as me defo take long trousers ( it gets very hot and humid there but I ended up with having around 70 bites on my legs and another 30 on arms :D :D yes we did count them :D ) Sending a lot of love...
