This was such a special place! We loved the guide he was a big man with a beard. He told us all about the traditional life and ways of Finland. We met a group of very nice and funny guys from England that were staying here to do shows for the children. They have a large tent that you can sit in by the fire and have a warm drink while chatting with amazing people from all over the world. This was a truly magical experience and I am so glad that I found this place online. We were fortunate to be able to rent a car in Tromso, Norway and drove all the way here. This way we were able to avoid the very high prices of a reindeer ride in Rovaniemi, Finland. We still went there to meet Santa Claus, but did our Husky ride and Reindeer ride elsewhere for a better price. It was also magical (but scary) driving in all the snow and seeing the countryside across Norway, Sweden...

We booked the reindeer sleigh ride last minute because we really wanted to experience this, Between other activities we needed a calm relaxing day this was really perfect. The sleigh ride was beautiful, they also trained some of the reindeers between us so they get use to people. Very kind locals, they give us information about the reindeers and we were allowed to feed them with there type of granules. Because they are still wild animals the ones we fed where behind fences. Lovely experience thank you to the locals for letting us...

What an incredible excursion on our recent visit to Lapland. I was expecting something similar to a farm here in the UK but what we got was a real insight into life as a Reindeer herder. We could have listened all day to stories about the Reindeer, how they are herded, how nature is in charge always and how much love there is for these amazing creatures. If you are remotely close to Kopara at any point it is a must! Our kids loved it just as much as we did and now share their amazing Reindeer facts with anyone who...

We only spent a few hours here. Lunch was lovely and children get 50% discount on food. I had the reindeer soup which is filling and plenty of veg and meat. No desert with the meal but lots of home made bread and butter 😋 The other option was mash potato and reindeer meat, also very good. We took the €10 pass purchased from the cafe and walked and fed the reindeer. Other activities on site are husky rides and snowmobiles.
