Espoo Car Museum — Attraction in Helsinki sub-region

Rare cars and automotive items in an old barn tucked in a beautiful landscape, a curiosity to see. While on business trip had very little personal time available including week-ends. Classic Car enthusiast for more than 30 years I screened and found this place in easy reach even from downtown Helsinki by public transportation, train/bus with around 1hour trip on week-end. While on site after a sweet trip thru the trees and lake landscapes almost alone in the bus, I was really amazed by the high number of cars and rare cars in a very attractive setting to me of an old barn. Plenty of mechanical setup, even a driving school device of the 20's, and all those cut motors for mechanics school! really an experience not to be missed. Ok, it maybe isn't the most modern museum I've visited. Not even the most accessible location-wise but for sure one of the most relevant for myself and also worth a visit, big time!

We spent here a good time with my parents and my family on the father's day. My dad was thrilked with all the relics from his own youth and was telling all the stories of each individual car, moped and bike. I had a fantastic time passing on information to my own daughter.

Impeccable service. The place is full of old cars. I would have expected more information or stories about them though. Technical data and since kind of context of the times the cars were used and produced or some kind of grouping, like pre WW2 cars, pre oil crisis vehicles or something to grasp onto. This is an excellent place to visit of you're interested in cars and motorcycles, mopeds AND know about them already. Otherwise it's just vehicles. Oh, and there's a tank...
