Read moreA stunning location and a truly wonderful wooden house. The view to the lake is just fantastic. Very disappointed though to find that inside the house they did not have many works of Halonen on display but instead lots of paintings and works from other Finnish artists painted whilst they had been in France. I visited hoping to specifically see and learn about the person who had lived in the house. I am not sure if I would have wished to pay the rather expensive entrance fee to see works from artists who are already on display in large museums...
