Lahankoski Rapids — Attraction in Helsinki sub-region

Another little gem of Finland. Stumbling across this little section of rapids was a picturesque find. There is parking for 8-10 cars yet when I was there it was empty - not sure how busy it actually gets as besides looking at the rapids there is not much to do in the area. Mahti paikka käydä! Luhankoski yllätti täysin – aivan upea paikka luonnon ja historian yhdistelmää arvostavalle. Kolmen sillan kierros oli todella mukava kävellä, ja maisemat kosken kuohujen ja vanhan punatiilisen voimalan ympärillä olivat kuin postikortista. Helppo pääsy ja selkeät reitit tekevät paikasta sopivan myös perheille tai kevyelle päiväretkelle. Tänne on pakko palata eri vuodenaikoina – uskon, että paikka on yhtä vaikuttava kevään tulvissa kuin talven kuurassa....
