Lonna — Attraction in Helsinki sub-region

A gentrification island that is nicely isolated from rest of the Helsinki bay area. It's tiny and relaxing place to visit and has usually not too much other visitors. You need to pay atleast 7 Euros to get here with a ferry. It's possible to visit here with your own boat too.

This place has remarkable history but nowadays this is mostly an island for gentrification people or other people making a tad more money than I do. This is a great place for them to spend some time.

There's a fine restaurant and a waffle bar/cafe for to spend some money. Regular Finnish lager cost 6,50 Euros and decent craft beer cost 9 Euros at this waffle bar.

You can find a hip public woodheated sauna here too which cost 16 Euros for 2 hours (towel rent is 7 Euros).

Overall not bad place however it's small place - that hasn't got much other things to do than eating, drinking and going into a hip sauna and all of these options are a bit too expensive. So this island isn't recommended for anyone who has a tight budget. It's a fine place for gentrification nuclear family and other similar featurette people. Small, beautiful and quiet place that consume money - not recommended for pirate looking...

Supercool experience at Lonna! Wasn't too fond of sauna's untill I did this one. Going into an environment of over 90°C and than jumping in the cold sea is a magical feeling. My friends of Whim and I just loved it. I can recommend it...
