Nice park for good small picnic. There are some benches. Small entrance. Flowers bloom beautifully in the summer and you can see tons of apples in the autumn. Nothing much else around this place but nice to have a walk to visit if you live near by or if you really like apples or small parks. 17.5.2019 some were already blooming but still most of the trees are waiting...

A public garden where anyone can visit and pick apples. There are plenty of apple and some pear trees. It is open usually during whole summer and apples are available from July till September. It is an experience rather than getting free apples. Four stars because apples are not delicious but a must visit place for getting apple...

The city's apple orchard, a large garden including a variety of apples, finnish red currants, pears, plums.

Apples are delicious, flowers in May and fruits you can come to pick in August onwards.

The space is airy and clean, here there are wooden tables and chairs and trash cans...

Kartanorakennuksen vieressä oleva Fruticetum eli hedelmäpuutarha. Alueella on useita pöytiä jotka tekevät puistosta huippu picnic paikan. Kartanon alueella omistajat ja käyttötarkoitus vaihtui usein. Lopulta 40-luvulla syntyi hedelmätarha. Helsingin yliopiston koetilalla oli yli 2 500 hedelmäpuuta. Nykyisin jäljellä enää on noin 350 omenapuuta, mutta myös päärynä-, luumu- ja kirsikkapuita. Sekä mehiläis yhdyskuntia. Malminkartanon alueella viljeltiin kaikkia Suomessa kasvavia hedelmäpuita ja pensaita. 80-luvun puolivälissä alueen rakentaminen saatiin valmiiksi. Ainoastaan puiston itäinen osa jätettiin rakentamatta ja se muodostaa nykyisen omenatarhan.
