Accidentally found the Stockmann ruins today while exploring. It was strange to see a concrete structure on the inside of what looked like a small medieval castle until I read about the history and learned that the ruins are only from around 1918 or so. It seems that members from the Stockmann family planned to build a mansion/castle at the location but unfortunately died due to the spanish flu pandemic that was ravaging the planet at the time which took the lives of 25 thousand Finns and 60 million worldwide.
