The museum is located in a beautiful area. There’s also a café next to it, where you can have a small break and enjoy the views.

By climbing the tower of the museum you can also see the same scenery the artist once saw.

The exhibitions change frequently. At the moment they have a few paintings from private collections. I felt lucky I got to see them in person. There may not be so many paintings, but the ones that are there are great ones. So instead of people complaining about the lack of art, take a moment to enjoy what is there.

There’s fun activities for the family here as well. You may download an app on your phone too! And enjoy some extra content.

If you follow the museum’s social media accounts, you can see when they hold events or fun activities.

As far as for the price: you can use your museum or kaiku card and get in for free. Otherwise adults are 10€, 7€ for the pensioners, 5€ for students and unemployed, and anyone under 18 is free.

During winter period 1.9-14.5. The museum is open tue-sat 11-16, su 11-17

During summer time (15.5-31.8) the museum and café are open everyday...

Worth visiting, at least to check the building from the outside, enjoy the cafe and amazing view on the water. Perfect to come here by bike! For the car - could be a trouble to find the parking spot. We’ve been at least two times inside the museum, it is not so special but quite interesting, in good condition, so it’s pleasant to explore it. Recommend to visit it with the Museumcard (as any other museum in Finland - with the Museumcard it’s free entrance). Better come here in the spring or when it’s not too hot, because it could be quite warm inside. I’d not recommend going here in winter either, because then you won’t be able to enjoy...

Great place really pleasant and most interesting and talented art ever to come out of Finland. Fascinating building. Strange discovered my son had turned green when checked the photos taken. This is obviously somekind of miracle or Alien intervention. I mean what else could it be? Apart from the improbable possibility that my new HowWay mobile phone that I cannot use properly that I might have pushed the wrong buttons. But history Channel convinced me it is Aliens that are behind every single odd thing that happened or...
