Uranuksen etäisyys auringosta on noin 2,8 miljardia km eli 20 kertaa maan etäisyys, joten Ursan aurinkomallissa huvimajan etäisyys Pajamäellä sijaitsevasta 140 cm pallosta on 2,8 km. Huvimajassa oleva Uranuksen pallo on pesäpalloa pienempi. Mallin aurinkoa ei tiirailusta huolimatta näkynyt, mutta oikea aurinko helotti täydeltä terältä, sekin antoi mittasuhteille perspektiiviä. Ursan malli havainnollistaa, miten lopulta tyhjää täynnä aurinkokunta on.
