Animal Park Ysitien Lemmikki — Attraction in Jyväskylä sub-region

Animal park for the family. It's located on the way north from Jyväskylä / on the way south from Kuopio/Pieksämäki etc. It's very close to the main road so you can't miss it. Tickets were a bit high priced as it's 10€/person. Usually we spent about 1 hour and 45 minutes walking around in a slow pace. You're not allowed to feed the animals. They offer free pony rides for small kids twice a day. There's a small cafe and toilets. Nothing amazing but a great place to breath and...

It's has shy bunnies, bored lamas, apathetic reindeers and you can ride a pony for 2minutes . All for an exorbitant price! If this wasn't in boring Finland, I'd give one star, but if you get tired of forests, lakes and mushrooms this is one of the better attractions...

Great place to visit! Many calmer animals on show, not an exotic zoo in that way. Perfect for kids, but in our group of 4 young adults no one left dissapointed either. Animals looked happy and well taken care of. Well worth the 11 euro...
