Hossan luontokeskus — Attraction in Kehys-Kainuu sub-region

Our intention was to try some mountainbiking but the center only offered rental bikes for adults and not kids, something that wasn’t obvious from the web page / call to center. So if you have kids that wants to ride mountain bike, make sure to bring your own or rent elsewhere before. We ended up renting a canoe instead which was an ok substitute. The center also had an ok lunch with one vegetarian option as well as glutenfree bread. Regarding the beautiful nature and well maintained trails, five stars...

A friendly crew and good food. This is all what I can tell aboit the place! No niin, I'm just kidding. There is lunch for 10€-s everyday from 12 to 14 hours. You can eat as much as you want then. And the food is really great. It was so great to inspire me for writing my hat poem. Are you interested of my art? Luontokeskus with very limited exhibition. At the time of our visit it was just a video on a loop and a souvenir shop. The food and drink available are good for a quick meal or snack but it is not a place for you to buy food to bring on a hike or in case you forgot something for your hike (e.g prepacked Hiking meals, matches, gasbottles, rain cover, etc...).
