Lovely little picturesque wonder of nature in an otherwise equally beautiful countryside! There is a waterfall, an old mill, a beautiful lake, walking tracks and trekking routes ... the scenic beauty makes it a look like straight out of a fairy tale book. If you have a chance and are in that part of Finland, you must visit!

Nice place you can walk from Ukkohalla or the nearby parkinslot. From Ukkohalla its about 4km Has an outhouse and a lean to shelter and a place to make fire.

Oulujoen reitin Hyrynsalmen reitin Syvä- ja Lietejoen yläjuoksulla oleva yli 10 metrinen kaksihaarainen köngäs tai putous. Pienemmän haaran mönkään reunalla on vanhan puisen myllyrakennuksen käyttämätön rakennus. Köngäs pysäytti Oulujoen kautta nousseen merilohen ja - taimenen nousun. Nykyään joki toimii pienten smolttilohien kasvualueena, joiden pyynti on kielletty.
