Unprofessional and Rude Ski Coach

I recently had the unfortunate experience of encountering a ski coach who completely ruined what was supposed to be a memorable day on the slopes. Here’s why I would strongly advise against booking any lessons with this individual:

Lack of Basic Courtesy: From the moment we met, the coach didn’t bother to say hello or introduce themselves. It’s common courtesy to greet your clients, especially when they’re excited about their first skiing experience.

Impatience and Rudeness: Our six-year-old son was understandably nervous, as any child would be. Instead of being patient and encouraging, the coach displayed impatience and rudeness. He seemed annoyed by our son’s natural apprehension and lack of cooperation.

Disregard for Parents: To make matters worse, the coach decided to educate us, the parents, on how to handle our child. As if we weren’t already stressed enough, he offered unsolicited parenting advice.

No Apology: After a particularly unpleasant interaction, the coach didn’t even have the decency to apologize. A simple acknowledgment of his behavior would have gone a long way, but he remained unapologetic.

In summary, this ski coach lacks the essential qualities needed for effective teaching: patience, empathy, and professionalism. Our family’s ski day was marred by his behavior, and I strongly recommend avoid booking any lessons...

Viehättävä pienehkö laskettelukeskus. Jos kaipaa rauhallisuutta eikä palveluiden, esimerkiksi ruokakaupan puuttuminen toimi esteenä, tämä on juuri täydellinen lomanviettopaikka! Luonnon kauneudesta ja rauhallisuudesta annan viisi tähteä. Uloimmat rinteet eivät olleet kunnossa, kiitos että tästä oli hyvin tiedotettu. Silti eniten laskettujen rinteiden jyrkimmissä kohdissa oli valitettavasti muhkuraisia jäisiä kohtia. Rinteiden kunnossapitoa olisi hyvä parantaa, tai ainakin kohdistaa kunnossapitoa kriittisiin alueisiin. Me olimme varovaisia laskijoita, mutta jouduimme ikävä kyllä näkemään erään loukkaantuneen laskijan noutamista...
