This is the western part of this smallish national park. However, it is well worth visiting since these type of parks are rare in this his part of the country. There is a 2.5 km circular trail with plenty of benches to sit down and observe the wetlands nature. The trail is well maintained and flat but good shoes are still needed. There are no services in the park. The bird watchtower is located...

Valkmusa National Park is a perfect place for those who want to enjoy the beautiful Finnish nature for a short time or all day. The duckboards and pathway can feel difficult to pass for disabled people. But the unusual vegetation in the area is worth a visit. Bears, wolves and moose have also been seen in the area.
