Well preserved cardboard factory and surrounding buildings situated in beautiful natural setting. Outdoor expositions provide good insight into history of the place including its inhabitants, the cardboard factory and adjacent power plants; everything is well labeled and can be seen free of charge. The cardboard factory itself houses former machinery used for production - this is well preserved and super interesting to visit as the whole production process can be easily followed and understood. Visits are available on guided tours only, tours in English available at every half past with the last one being at 3.30 PM. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about both the factory and hikes in the surrounding countryside. Expect one of the cleanest toilets in Finland, don't expect free WiFi.
