Museum documenting the history of the Salpa Line. Indoor displays in Finnish and a film in multiple languages. Outside there are 3 trails of differing length - all clearly marked. The map and info boards are in Finnish, but we were provided with an English guide book - needs to be returned at the end of the visit. They do offer guided tours as part of the admission fee. Well laid out paths and exhibits. Cafe, shop and toilets on site.

This segment of the Salpa Line is in good shape thanks to maintenance projects that have taken place over the last decade. However, the area is certainly in the middle of the forrest and is to be toured at one's own discretion. Mosquito spray, a torch for the machine gun bunker and cave are a must! Well worth the visit and nearby to the more established Salpa Line Museum which is some 15km south.
