There is a 1.2 km/0.75 miles trail through the old peat production area called the Environmental Trail. Peat production has ended here, and parts of the bog have been re-wetted since the late 1940s. At the halfway point, there is a huge dragline excavator next to the bog area where peat production ceased at the end of the 1990s. The museum consists of an outdoor exhibition of peat production machinery and an indoor museum that tells more about the history of Aitoneva and peat production in general. Some of the old machines outside look really interesting, especially the Soviet-manufactured vacuum peat harvester BPF-2M. The museum and the exhibitions are unique and interesting.
