University of Oulu Botanical Gardens — Attraction in Oulu sub-region

We were pleasantly surprised to find such a well-equipped and diverse botanical garden at the University of Oulu! It was amazing to see so many familiar tropical and subtropical plants, all so well cared for. Even though there were a steady number of visitors, the atmosphere remained calm and peaceful—not crowded at all.

The entrance is based on voluntary donations, and we were happy to contribute, hoping that the garden continues to grow and reach more people! 😊😊

Place worth visiting even if you aren't a big fan of flowers. Place has three main sections. Tropical, not so tropical and the outdoor section during summertime.
