Place worth visiting even if you aren't a big fan of flowers. Place has three main sections. Tropical, not so tropical and the outdoor section during summertime. Beautiful exotic flowers of many shapes and sizes. Last time I went the entry was free and there is a place at the entry where you can leave your jackets and stuff. I visit there regularly because different flowers bloom in different times.

Amazing Place! Is really a beauty place, very near of the Oulu University, the great University in Oulu, Ostrobotnia, this is the north of Finland, arriendo this places all is beauty, the trees, the pines, the snow over the ways, y very magic, the people is very nice too. Is a wonderfull place to visit... Is really great! You most visit if you are in Oulu, Suomi.

Here is another visiting place who love tree and plant. No visiting fee but u can donate if u want. You can feel tropical feel inside even in -20°C outside. The most amusing for me is to find our familiar tree from home country, which is the really nice to know the country of origin.

It's a spectacular place to see which has a lot of trees and plants. In the flat city of Oulu, seeing even one small hill excites you. You can find a number of small hills in this garden. In addition there are a number of small ponds that makes the place very beautiful and refreshing.

We had a function in this venue. It was apt as the participants spoke about agri products and services. The garden greenhouses are not huge but house a wide collection of flora from the tropics and temperate regions. It was pleasant to roam in the greenhouses Julia and Romeo.

The botanical garden was well maintained and there were labels indicating the species name and origin. There were two greenhouses with plants from four different climate areas and some interactive activities for people interested to know more.
