Very nice skiresort located in the most southern fjells in Finland.

Variety of the slopes is perfect, but during the development there's been some setbacks, since the T-bar in the middle has become idle (unused). It's there, with out power and T-bars and standing still?

Due customer demand last development was smaller T-bar with a gently angled field which size is easily 3-4 football fields. Perfect for beginners, but after all nobody stays there for days.

Slopes at "Takarinteet" area are far more demanding or difficult than the ones at "eturinteet" yet the BUT is Park slope which is located in "eturinteet" area.

Would get 5 stars, if the idle T-bar would be running or long waited CHAIRLIFT would have arrived. But since these are missing, it's far from perfect.

My favourite slopes are in the middle, where the non running T-bar is, so that reason I get kind of confused? There also good pillow lines in this area, but the lift won't help you. Usually time is spent on "Takarinteet" area, where the moguls run is and there even Freeride area with gladed woods with man made features. Very nice.

12/2018 the hotel was lost in a fire. Plans replacing it with newly developed one are already done, so fingers crossed we will see NEW and hopefully even better already on season 2019/2020.

Very family friendly place which usually get loaded with snow. Location is one of the snowiest in Finland.

If you haven't been here it's worth the visit - so...

We went to Iso-Syöte for a day of skiing. We expected a lot of people on Saturday and not very steep hills, but we were mistaken. There were almost no people, no queues at the lifts, awesome! Some of the slopes (red and black) were challenging even for really good skiers, even though they weren't very long. The snow stayed in a good shape until late afternoon. We got here with Saaga Travels from Oulu, definitely recomment their...

One of the very best places to go for winter fun. To call it a ski centre is an injustice because there is so much more to do than just go skiing. The snowshoe trails are well marked and the nature is beautiful. Rentals are available for snow mobile excursions as well as numerous and challenging fatbike trails. Restaurants, bars hotels etc are predictably pricey but...

Kiva Bike Park varsinkin kokeneimmille kuskeille. Plussaa ankkurihissin avustajasta.

Great runs and not too long queues for the lifts. Top facilities for kids to practice. Good choice for food and places to have a drink.
