Beautiful palce where you can walk or ride a bike (separated tracks for bikers). I saw a couple kota's on my way where everybody can rest and prepare food on fireplace. In visitor centre you can see a lot of information about park and ask a personel about tracks. So shame I had only 1 day here, next time I'm gonna rent this sauna in the centre of forest :) If you love nature I highly recommend this place.

Great national park 🏞 A lot of activities provided here such as 🎿 skiing and hiking 🥾 (Winter shoe rental price is 15 Eur) Trail walk also spectacular view even the short one (2.5 km) and you can carry some of sausage to grill at the small hut along the walk way. I really recommend to visit this national park on summer and also winter and you will definitely love it.

Syöte is a beautiful national park! We took a day trip there while we were in Haparanda, Sweden. We got a little lost even with using Gaia GPS but eventually found a beautiful cabin by the lake (Toraslampi) in the photo. The staff in the visitor centre are super-nice, too. Would definitely explore the area again!

We hebben de Teeritupa trail gelopen. Op papier is die 4,5 kilometer lang, maar gemeten vanaf het bezoekerscentrum kwam ik uit op 6,8 kilometer. Reken dus op iets meer tijd en moeite. Qua moeilijkheid, tja, dat is moeilijk te zeggen, want dat is persoonlijk. Ik vond m best uitdagend. Er zaten behoorlijke klimmetjes in via rotsen en keien. Ook het naar beneden lopen heb ik niet altijd als eenvoudig ervaren. Soms moest je over de rotsen klauteren om veilig beneden te komen. Mooi is het houten pad door het moeras. Ik vond het wel jammer dat we geen dieren tegenkwamen, behalve enorme mierenhopen, muggen en een enkele vogel (matkop). Met die muggen viel het trouwens wel mee. Goed insmeren met DEET is het advies. Dat werkt prima. Prima was ook de hulp van de dame in het bezoekerscentrum: erg aardig en hulpvaardig.

Parin päivän lenkkinä marraskuun alussa Kellarilammelta Ahmakallion ja Toraslammen kautta takaisin Kellarilammelle. Osa reitistä kulki Iso-Syötteen retkeilyalueella joka kulkee osaltaan omasta mielestä ikävästi asutusalueen läpi. Pettymyksenä myös syyskulkijoita vähän syrjivästi luontokeskus oli suljettuna marraskuun. Kansallispuiston alueella reitti oli pääasiassa hyvässä kunnossa, muutamaa poikkeusta lukuunottamatta. Ahmakallion maisema auringonnousun aikaan oli ehdottomasti reissun kohokohta. Myös Toraslammentupa aurinkoisena päivänä oli todella kaunis auringonpaisteen kimallellessa jäätyneeltä lammelta. Yön lepäsi Ahmatuvassa, jonka jälkeen oli virkeä lähteä päivän lenkille.
