Simply one of the best beaches in Finland. The beach is large and beautiful with very fine sand and impressive dunes. The water is very shallow and it takes quite a distance from the waterline to be able to swim properly. This, on the other hand, is only a great thing especially for families with small children. In addition there are free showers, toilets and changing rooms available to the beach goers. A part of the beach is dedicated to nudism which I particularly like. There is also a large camping area available to visitors, and while there are a great number of parking slots, they are usually quite occupied during hot summer days. Note that the beach in all its greatness is often very crowded with the exception of the nudist zone where there is much more space (if one is comfortable being naked). Instead, pay a visit in the evening or morning after a stormy and dry period which is required for natural sand patterns to form and cover human and animal tracks. This practically means spring and autumn periods and also winter seasons with little or no snow when it is possible to see frozen dune formations in pale winter light.

Missing adult entertainment, water activities, chairs, sun umbrellas, volleyball, beach padel, potential playgrounds for kids, etc. The biggest miss and huge opportunity is the lack of restaurants and overall beverages (no real food, just burgers, pizzas, kebab, fried chicken, etc).
