One of the must-see places for all the moomin fans and normal tourists alike. NOTE! prohibition to disembark onto Söderskär with your own boat is valid from 1.5.-31.7 because of nesting birds! Movement is limited to certain areas as well, so I recommend visiting the islet in August.

Worth a visit if you like rocks, sea and to relax. The official boat service is very bad. They don't speak English and don't give any information during the trip. The small boat is not comfortable and it is overpriced.

The retired lighthouse that lies on the island in the outreaches of Porvoo, Sipoo and Helsinki. Landing onto the island is permitted only after August 01 annually due to the nestlings of birds.
