A Magical Day at Lomamäen Lemmikkipuisto!

This past Sunday, our family had the absolute joy of visiting Lomamäen Lemmikkipuisto, and what a beautiful experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and lots of wagging tails! 🐶

This charming, family-owned petting zoo is a true gem nestled in the Finnish countryside. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful — speaking Finnish, English, Swedish, Spanish… you name it! Their passion for animals and hospitality made us feel right at home.

We brought my father, who’s visiting from Chile 🇨🇱, and he was just as enchanted. He couldn’t stop smiling and was genuinely touched by the friendliness of everyone we met — both two-legged and four-legged! 🐓🐴🐑

🌟 Special shout-out to the dedicated Customer Relations Manager — the Golden Retriever — who greeted every guest with a wag of his tail and the professionalism only a very good boy can deliver. We truly believe he deserves a raise (maybe an extra sausage or two?) 🦴💼🐕

A really quirky little zoo. Has a great mixture of animals from chickens and turkeys (these are roaming freely) to a porcupine and snakes. Plus you get food to feed some of the animals. Staff are all really friendly and helpful, you can also pet some of the animals like the raccoon.

As reptile area is indoors you cannot go inside but they often bring snakes outside that you can see and pet.

Is a small area for children to play with a bouncy castle, trampoline and ride on toys.

Little kiosk sells sine hot food as well as drinks and ice creams.

Well...

You get to see a large variety of animals from small pet birds and reptiles, to goats and reindeer. You can also get the opportunity to pet a super adorable and kind raccoon named Daisy or the chance to give Mariah and Kimi, the tame foxes, a small pat and some treats.
