На этой выставке Вы сможете осмотреть лагерь охотников каменного века, увидеть охоту на дикого оленя, добычу тюленей, познакомиться со старинными рыболовными снастями и образцами охотничьего оружия древности. Расставленные в витринах фигуры охотников, представляющих разные эпохи, поведают вам о развитии одежды и охотничьего снаряжения от каменного века до нашего времени. Большая часть коллекции сформировалась в 1900-х годах, в том числе раздел охотничьей одежды, где представлены, например, первые головные уборы финских охотников на лося, среди которых фигурирует и шапка покойного президента Кекконена. Мода на шапки такого цвета и фасона пришла из Америки, откуда их привез финский консул Алекс Кююхкюсел, о чем он писал в сопроводительном письме к своему дару музею. Значительную часть экспозиции занимают различные виды охотничьего оружия. В комната Сафари представлены экзотические коллекции трофеев, а комната Сако, занимающая площадь в 100 м2, дает представление о производстве финского оружия за период с 1900 года.

Функции музея не только в сборе, изучении и представлении вещей, связанных с охотой, но и в качестве информационного центра в этой области. В распоряжении посетителей также имеются библиотеки, архивы и фотоархивы, значки различных охотничьих обществ. At this exhibition, you can see the camp of Stone Age hunters, see wild deer hunting, seal hunting, get acquainted with ancient fishing tackle and samples of ancient hunting weapons. Figures of hunters representing different epochs placed in the showcases will tell you about the development of clothing and hunting equipment from the Stone Age to our time. Most of the collection was formed in the 1900s, including the section on hunting clothing, which shows, for example, the first hats of Finnish elk hunters, among which the hat of the late President Kekkonen appears. The fashion for hats of this color and style came from America, from where they were brought by the Finnish consul Alex Kuyukhkusel, about which he wrote in a cover letter to his gift to the museum. A significant part of the exposition is occupied by various types of hunting weapons. The Safari Room displays exotic collections of trophies, while the 100 m2 Sako Room gives an insight into the production of Finnish weapons since 1900. The functions of the museum are not only in the collection, study and presentation of things related to hunting, but also as an information center in this area. At the disposal of visitors there are also libraries, archives and photo archives, badges of various hunting societies.
