Äkässaivo — Attraction in Tunturi-Lapin seutukunta

The route was floaded on some parts as of May 2023 but besides some wet shoes we had no issues. The place is great for a break with toilets that look line new, fire wood and a big grilling fire place. There are two trails the one closer to the water is more challenging with rocks, easy for kids but maybe not for people with reduced mobility or old. The higher trail is flatter and was also less floaded. Crossing the bridge to make the full round was a bit creepy as it seemed the water would take it away but...

Tämän paikan arvosteluja ja bloggauksia lueskelin, kehuttiin pitkospuita ja helppokulkuisuutta. Ja kuinka sopii myös lapsiperheille. Saivonkierros on vielä sopivan mittainen tätä silmällä pitäen (n. 3km). Todellisuudessa kierros oli melko vaikeasti kuljettavaa yli puolet matkasta - koska pitkospuut, yhtä lukuunottamatta, oli poistettu.

Jäljellä oli siis kivikkoa, juurakkoa, jyrkkiä nousuja yms. Eli kierros oli muuttunut aivan toiseksi, mitä siltä odotettiin.

Saivonkierros ei sovellu lapsiperheille tai hieman liikuntarajoitteisille ja on haastava osan matkaa.
