The best place in Turku for winter swimming because of the views and clean water. For just 6 e you can use the sauna, showers and locker room for 1,5 hours. Take your own towel, swimsuit and flip flops. In winter, the water is kept from freezing at the end of the jetty and ther are good stairs to step into the water. one of the few beaches you can find close to city center of turku. easy to reach with bus but busses are not that frequent and you might need to wait for more than an hour to take the next bus. the cafe close to the beach is unfortunately closed. it would be great if it was open and waiting for the bus wouldn’t be a problem but as it is now take your returning trip into consideration. there is a kids playground and barbeque setup in the beach and a sauna (wasn’t active...
