Kvarken Archipelago | Unesco World Heritage — Attraction in Vaasa sub-region

I had very good 1 day tour there. It was worth renting car and spending whole day there. Very beautiful nature, silence, and clean air. No one was there, like you are in abandoned empty place all alone. All the service places were closed during my visit, so better to prepare your own necessities if u visiting in winter. It’s no surprise that this site is identified as a UNESCO world heritage site ! It is as beautiful during winters as it is during summer time. It takes you back in time with those red / yellow fisherman’s houses for boats and other things.

Nearby walking trail leads you to Watch Tower in the shape of Salt Pepper dispenser and thus its name.
