Fabulous course south of Annecy. Staff are welcoming and there is a choice of two courses. The Casters course is a short nine hole course next to the practice facilities a short drive down the hill from the main course and great for getting your game back into rhythm. Practice facilities are good using the Top Tracer system which I like. The main Belvedere course is excellent, especially now in late April having dried out. The greens were surprisingly quick and the fairways in good condition. The course has a little quirk using buggies with trailers to take you up the hill to four holes with amazing views of the mountains and down to Lake Annecy. Wednesday Green Fees are reduced and at 49 euros at the time of writing good value for money and booking is really easy through the reservation system through the website. The staff also speak English which is a real help but try and speak French, it's really appreciated....

Golf and restaurant review: 1) Golf: set in the valley the front nine are quite physical due to topography. Make sure to use the golf carts made available after the third hole to get to the fourth hole (Nobody told us about this feature and it was a serious climb to get there). The greens are well maintained and quite ample sized and most with slope and undulating. 2) Restaurant: a nice terrace setting overlooking the courses. We had the lunch time set menu which had a good choice to it. Food was carefully presented and tasty. Friendly and attentive service by staff.

Magnificent location, such a beautiful backdrop with the mountains, some snow capped, visible in all directions around the course. Best sight from hole no. 5 with a view overlooking the turqoise blue lake of Annecy. Course and particularly greens well maintained. Careful though, as you could loose some balls from the brooks running down from the mountains.... Can't wait...
