Great location to soak up the sunshine (August 2024). Large grass area, sandy beach and some shade provided by established trees.
A café on the ground floor serving hot and cold snacks plus drinks including beer on tap, wine and Aperol Spritz. There's a more formal restaurant to the first floor.
There are toilets and showers, all of which were clean and cleaned regularly.
There's a volleyball court, diving boards and plenty of space for football if you fancy it. During high season there are lifeguards.
It costs €2.50 an adult for entry.
Once the main building and facilities close at the end of the season it's possible to use the beach for free.
There are great views across the lake plus there's an area cordoned off for young swimmers.
There's a car park by the entrance with recycling bins. There's also plenty of space for bicycles at the front of the building.
Over the years we've visited many times, in both high and low season, eitherway we've always enjoyed our visits to the beach at St Jorioz. The beautiful waters of Lake Annecy are normally warm from June through to September.

There are also great views of the surrounding mountains, especially in the early morning or at sunset when the light reflects off the lake — absolutely magical. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters, Saint-Jorioz is...
