Cyclist review - Did this climb as part of a loop from Argeles Gazost taking in the Spandelles first. Lovely quiet road from Ferreira and good tarmac for the decent back to Argeles Gazost, definitely recommend that direction. Nice cafe that was actually open with public loos at the top, don't always get that even on more climbs like the Toumalet. Unfortunately Aubisque was still closed when we did it but looks a shortish climb from here. Decent into Argeles...

Ce col du Soulor, non loin de celui d’Aubisque, est ultra accueillant pour les CC. Situation apaisante sur un sol quasi plat, avec un environnement impressionnant : les animaux en situation pastorale sont en liberté totale. Vous y rencontrerez des vaches, mais aussi des chevaux, des brebis et … des ânes qui sont attendrissants et se laissent caresser. Au loin vous admirerez le Pic du...

Situation apaisante sur un sol quasi plat, avec un environnement impressionnant : les animaux en situation pastorale sont en liberté totale. Vous y rencontrerez des vaches, mais aussi des chevaux, des brebis et … des ânes qui sont attendrissants et se laissent caresser. Au loin vous admirerez le Pic du Midi de Bigorre.

Superbe col à 10 minutes du col d’Aubisque (route étroite pour les personnes n’ayant pas le vertige...) À la limite des Hautes Pyrénées et des Pyrénées Atlantiques, c’est le départ de nombreuses randonnées. Quelle vue ! Vous y verrez des animaux en liberté des rapaces, aigles et vautours, des chevaux, vaches ânes et moutons qui pâturent en toute tranquillité.
