Lovely little museum with English written guides to the exhibits. Also, a video in French. Stunning views over the Gers region in the back. Little souvenir shop in the front. Good history of Alexandre Dumas and his books and history of France.

Museo bien, correcto. Esta bien si vas por la zona, pero no ir expresamente. Explicación de quien era en realidad d'Artagnan y la relación con la literatura que Alejandro Dumas famoseó al personaje real. Interesante, si mas no. Pero corto si eres un fan de la epoca y los 3 mosqueteros. El pueblo esta adornado con banderas propias de la época, aunque podrian darle un poco mas de vestimenta. Por todo el pueblo hay carteles con explicaciones de Alejandro Dumas. No muy lejos de alli, aunque cerrado, esta el castillo de Castelmore, residencia de Charles de Batz de Castelmore, conde de d'Artagnan. Se puede parar para hacer fotos.

Lovely little museum dedicated to the Musketeer D'artagnan. He of course grew up here in a chateau not too far from town. Lot of information about his life and all the other people he knew like Louis XV and XVI.

Don't waste you time or money on this place which calls itself a museum. When we arrived the girl on reception actually told us in a jokey way that it wasn't worth visiting - she was right.

The whole experience felt like we were stepping back into the 80's not the 17th Century . Two large rooms with nothing but manequins dressed with attire from the period and some posters.

There was a short film which was outdated too and a few books and souvenirs of the three musketeers upstairs.

This museum, if you can call it that, needs to modernise and invest some money in making it more interactive and fun.

To finish off - I actually asked for my money back. Something I have never done before when visiting a museum. I just felt insulted and cheated by the whole experience. The girl on reception refused my request and told me to put my comment on google. Well here it is - another negative review and...

Un museu prescindible, gens interactiu, i car pel que és, dos ninots vestits de còmic, una reproducció d'un mosquet (que en realitat el nom de "mosqueters" prové de l'arma de foc, no de l'espasa), una espasa i uns quants cartells. És petit, consta de dues sales en dos pisos, ubicat a un antic edifici medieval que era un hospital. La capella l'han reconvertit en entrada i botiga del museu.

A la primera sala hi ha exposicions temporals, per la qual cosa només dedicada al personatge hi ha un audiovisual (només en francès) i la segona planta. La segona planta hi ha reculls de publicacions al voltant dels mosqueters i d'Artagnan, personatge fictici, i plafons on informen paral·lelament dels fets del personatge real en el qual es va inspirar Dumas per a la seva novel·la. Els textos dels plafons estan traduïts en text que et donen a l'entrada en anglès o castellà. Entrar en un museu, per llegir-se uns textos en paper, certament, no se li veu la gràcia.

En vint minuts el museu és vist. El més atractiu del museu és l'estàtua rampant del jardí ideal per a selfies i postureo. Si cal anar fins al poble ex professo, la recomanació és que si hom s'ho pot...
