Château de Bellignies — Attraction in Avesnes-sur-Helpe

A truly stunning property! A castle in the French countryside that dates back to the Middle Ages?! And has been restored to make your stay comfortable?! I could not ask for a better experience. The Chateau has seen so much history over the centuries and the owners, Etienne and Claire, are happy to share that history with you. A highlight is the tower, which used to be a dungeon and has a hidden staircase to show for it. My family and I had an amazing time tromping through the grounds, which has a Druid stone altar dating back to the Romans, and then relaxing in a comfortable living room in front of a roaring fire. Nous avons célébré notre mariage le 24/08/2024 au Château de Bellignies.

Le Château est magnifiquement restauré et offre un cadre superbe et de caractère.

Nous avons pu profiter du lieu tout le week end du vendredi après-midi au dimanche soir, ce qui a facilité grandement l’organisation.

Les gîtes et chambres permettent de loger beaucoup d’invités, ils sont plein de charme, la literie excellente et les salles de bain modernes.

En comparaison aux autres châteaux visités dans le valenciennois et l’avesnois, le Château de Bellignies se distingue aussi par la taille, le cachet et la variété des salles de réception, plus grandes si l’on souhaite être dans le château plutôt qu’une orangerie.

Le parc est très beau, avec aussi son petit bois et la Pierre druidique.

Enfin, le propriétaire qui fait un travail remarquable pour faire vivre le château est vraiment très agréable, arrangeant et disponible.

Ce lieu de réception de mariage mérite clairement d’être mieux connu !
