Château Cristia / Caveau et Chambres d’hôtes — Attraction in Avignon

Everything was so much better than we could have possibly expected. My husband and I planned to have a small gathering for a dinner to celebrate our union. We had a hard time finding an Airbnb to host the Americans coming from my side. We found a listing by Baptiste and from the moment from our first call, we knew he would be the perfect host. We explained what we had in mind, (a small dinner), and he offered suggestions and modifications. We were able to not only have a much larger dinner (about 30 guests), but we were able to host a vin d’honnour (cocktail gathering) in the most beautiful spot. This winery is so beautiful, and we cannot wait to come back for a wedding anniversary! The cocktail gathering we were able to host more than 60 people up in the vines, next to an adorable stone structure. Baptiste worked with us and with our other vendors (food and music) to prepare the setting. We had seating, and tables laid with food and drinks, we supplied our own decorations, which were perfect for our Provencal France themed event. I could probably write an entire book about the weekend we spent here. We are so lucky to have met such wonderful people running a beautiful place. A Truly Unique Stay in the Heart of France

If you're visiting France, staying at a place like this is absolutely worth it. It's a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature — the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast under the grapevines was delicious and atmospheric, a truly special way to start the day.

I highly recommend ordering the cheese and charcuterie board with a bottle of local wine. It's a delightful experience to savor the rich flavors in such a beautiful setting.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After all, it's not every day you get the chance to spend the night at a working vineyard!

Spent the night here on our way to Spain. Everything was just perfect. They welcomed us quite late (6:30PM) with a lovely wine tasting by Cassandra - Merci! They had also arranged a restaurant reservation for us as we wanted to try a specific local dish. The room was amazing! Large, brand new, fresh, nice deco, great AC - I was ready to move in! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here if in the region, we will for sure come back next time we drive through. Ah and yes wines are lovely, and breakfast is perfect for a good start to the day.
