During our trip to normandy Camporee, we stayed in Beauvoir to be able to visit Mont Saint Michael. We were looking for a grocery story in Pontorson when we discovered the Moulin de Moidrey. It looked so beautiful behind a field of yellow flowers. We decided to visit the 1806 mill and discovered its history. It is located 5 km from Mont Saint-Michel, a restoration that was completed in 2003, snd it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. #abuelosmochileros_normandy...

He has probably 20 different languages available. The moulin is fully explorable, from top to bottom, including all the equipments to actually create flour. Read moreThis is quite a landmark over the surrounding landscape. There is a carpark but we actually walked from the local village. The windmill was open and inside there is a shop selling flour milled there along with other local produce. Lovely views, including of Mont St Michael and there are information panels too....
