This beach was one of our favorite. Most of the time, we were alone or with a few people. It is beautiful and right by the road with easy parking. However, the waves are stronger and I wouldn't recommend it...

One of my favorite beaches in Basse Terre. Go to the eastern side of the beach (more parking spots under the trees and less crowded). There are two restaurants nearby. Waves were too strong to swim, but it was a great place to get tanned.

Wir waren im Rahmen einer Kreuzfahrt einen Tag auf Guadeloupe und haben diesen tollen Strand gefunden. Waren vorher am Plage de la Perle und Plage de Grande Anse Deshaies. Bei beiden haben wir keine Parkplatz gefunden. Der Strand ist der Inbegriff der Karibik. Absolut leer und auch viele schattige Plätze. Die Brandung ist allerdings selbst bei normalem Wetter sehr stark. Für ungeübte Schwimmer und Kinder ist das zu stark. Parken konnte man super entlang der Straße. Überall sind kleine Zugänge. Keine Infrastruktur wie Dusche und Toilette vorhanden.
