Best price of rhum on the island (cheaper than duty free and super market). Learned so much on the tour (they provide tours in English) and the tour guides were so nice and friendly! Store has a free tasting of any rum and great souvenirs to bring back.

Nous avons eu la chance de visiter la distillerie avec notre excellent guide Simon. Bien qu'à l'arrêts car nous étions en période de maintenance, nous avons pu visiter la majorité des bâtiments destinés à la production du rhum. J'ai rarement eu la chance de rencontrer un guide avec une élocution aussi bonne, concis dans ses explications mais en donnant une juste dose de détails. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à le suivre dans ses propos, jusqu'à la dégustation ! Encore un grand merci et au plaisir de déguster vos délicieux produits ! Réservation obligatoire ou fortement recommandée, les places sont limitées. La boutique était bien agencée et les produits ne manquaient pas. (La climatisation pourrait être un peu baissée, c'est un vrai frigo !)

Très jolie distillerie, une visite super intéressant. Belle vue sur la baie de Basse Terre. La boutique est top. La dégustation de fin de visite est généreuse, on peut goûter aux différents rhums BOLOGNE avec des conseils avisés. Ma préférence va au Distillat 100% canne noire, c'est brut, c'est puissant mais c'est tellement aromatique et chargé en chaleur, agrumes confits, abricots que c'est vraiment agréable. Il manque peut être un service de livraison pour commander en boutique et se faire livrer en métropole, lorsqu'on n'a plus de place dans la valise, mais j'ai trouvé mon bonheur avec Excellence Rhum qui distribue les Rhums BOLOGNE donc pas de souci. Merci pour ce moment de bonheur.

Rum is good (I bought a lot!), the 2 stars are for the visitation. On website it looks like they do it also in English, but on place we were told FR only, EN once in 14 days (so you might be lucky). Anyway we went to a tour in FR, distillery was intersting, however too much talking for us :D Tasting was good, but you dont know differences in rums as you dont understand, and I also think it should be made in different room with chairs. Nice place, great tour, lovely service and exceptional rum. The tour goes inside the distillery, and up close on the factory. You get to see the whole process, and in the end, we got to taste the different rhums they make at Bologna.

It is to be said that the tour is only in french, so we were lucky to be in a international group where someone translated what the tour guide said for us. Without that, it might be a bit...

We had a tour in English with Elodie. We absolutely loved it! The distillery itself is such a great place to visit and Elodie has so much passion about it. The tasting in the end is such a unique opportunity to taste different rums! We are taking the rum back to Europe to share with our friends...
