The outside of the winery was absolutely beautiful and very inviting. When we went inside, we asked about tasting options. Unfortunately, they don’t offer any set tastings, and it was explained that samples are only available if you’re planning to purchase a bottle. While I understand not wanting to pour free tastings of everything, the way it was presented felt a bit uncomfortable, so we decided not to try anything.

Read moreThanks to the hard work of Valentin and Louisa, the sommeliers at the chateau up to quite recently, this historic tasting venue has become more and more popular with wine tourists. No matter how busy the cellar becomes, they are always pleasant, charming and helpful. In addition they are both extremely competent and always inject an infectious enthusiasm and passion to their explanations to clients. The cellar seems to be closed currently which is a shame and as a regular client, I have not been informed of the circumstances. I sincerely hope it will reopen...
Read moreBad experience. Despite it said degustation available, it was indeed limited to what they opened readily. Though it was free, I would rather love to pay for a real tasting, and at least more welcoming. The guy was very commercial and said just discovery of 2-3 wines, and “expect” you will buy some afterwards by uttering some discomfort words. This simply turns guest away. Since we were not impressed with their wines, plus his bad response, we then left but he kept rumoring (in French which we don’t understand), and obviously not in...
