An Exquisite Journey Through Time and Taste! Our wine-tasting lunch experience at La Table de Leonce was an absolute highlight of our visit to Dijon. This truly unique offering brilliantly combines historical insight with culinary excellence, earning it a very strong 4.5 stars. The experience began with a truly captivating guided winery tour, and this was an unexpected and delightful highlight. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, bringing the rich history of winemaking to life. What particularly stood out were the medieval wine-making tools. Seeing these ancient presses, barrels, and implements, and hearing about their use, provided an incredible perspective on the evolution of winemaking. It was a fascinating glimpse into the past and deepened our appreciation for the craft. Following the immersive tour, we settled in for lunch at La Table de Leonce, and this is where the magic of the wine pairing with the dishes truly shone. Each course was meticulously crafted, and the accompanying wine recommendations were nothing short of exceptional. The pairings elevated both the food and the wine, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. Every sip and every bite complemented each other perfectly, showcasing a deep understanding of both local cuisine and the region's incredible wines. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance was refined and welcoming. While the entire experience was superb, the combination of the truly engaging historical tour and the absolutely flawless wine pairings made it stand out. A highly recommended experience for anyone looking to truly understand and savor the essence of Burgundian winemaking...

Poor Organisation Detracts from Well-Preserved Site The place is well preserved, but the organization is awful. Here are the main issues we encountered: Guided Tour Issues: We wanted to join the English guided tour and were told it was fully booked. However, when we encountered the tour, there were only three people. It's unclear whether the capacity is limited, the staff miscounted, or there was a lack of effort in organising the tours properly. Poor Information and App Experience: The information provided was inadequate. An app was available for more details, but it was the worst app I've ever used. It was difficult to locate relevant points of interest. The English version lacked an audio option.

The visit could be much more enjoyable if the management were more organised and put more thought into presenting the place. This place deserves a better...

I had an exceptional and friendly time here on the Expérience Sensorielle Cœur de Climats tour. Joachim was very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. I had the best time as he taught me the essentials of wine tasting, the history of the castle and vineyards, and helped me (a person very new to the wine world) understand “climats”, “crus”, and the wine characteristics of the region. He summarized everything extremely well while also diving deep into the details, even teaching me to lean into my personal taste of the wine—to trust my descriptions, tastes, and thoughts on food pairings. I loved it. This was my best experience in Burgundy, and in a beautiful castle surrounded by stunning vineyards. Would...
