Cascade de la Glandieu is a really beautiful spot and totally worth a visit if you’re nearby. The waterfall looks amazing, with water flowing down over green mossy rocks into a calm pool. It’s not super big, but it’s got this peaceful vibe that makes it feel special. Just standing there and watching the water fall is kind of calming. Recommend!!
The walk to get there is short and easy...not tiring at all. There’s free parking close by, which is super convenient. You don’t need to plan a whole trip around it; even a quick stop is enough to enjoy the place.
There are a couple of restaurants and cafés near the waterfall, so you can grab something to eat or drink while enjoying the view. It’s a chill place where you can just relax for a while and take some nice photos.

Unfortunately they hire a security guard to tell you off if you step on a rock to take a photo. As there's no signs or rules saying you can't, this is not on, and pointless. It's a pretty waterfall but I'd suggest somewhere more welcoming where you aren't told off when you don't know you are doing anything wrong, it's also a waste of the money given to the national park that should be...

Nous avons fait quasi 3 heures de route pour voir la Cascade de Glandieu, avec mes 2 enfants autistes, une amie et 3 petits chihuahuas (2 kg chacun). À notre arrivée, un vigil sur place nous fait signe de loin que nous ne pouvons pas entrer. Je m’approche pour lui expliquer la situation : que mes enfants sont handicapés, qu’ils ne comprendraient pas qu’on reparte aussitôt apres un si long trajet et que nous ne resterons pas. Non seulement il refuse sans chercher à comprendre mais il se permet en plus de se moquer ouvertement de mes enfants, avec une blague déplacée. Il est ensuite retourné s'asseoir sur sa chaise, nez dans son téléphone, écouteurs sur les oreilles faisant semblant de ne pas voir mon fils hurler devant lui. Inadmissible et irrespectueux. Le manque d'empathie et de professionnalisme nous a déçu. Le lieu est peut-être beau malgré qu'elle soit en bordure de route et avec beaucoup trop de monde tellement l'accès y est facile, mais l’accueil est tout sauf humain. Pas pour les familles avec enfants handicapés ou chiens. La baignade est interdite et pas intérêt d'y mettre un orteil même sous 35 degrés avec l'autre petit...
