What an incredibly beautiful Castle and how romantic. There are only a few rooms - with four poster beds and 20 foot high ceilings. You feel that you are stepping back into the middle ages. You are treated by the owner as if you too were a member of the aristocracy or royalty. Truly an unforgettable experience. Not only that but there is a water park within short walking distance including archery. The countryside is incredible - whole villages that step right out of the middle ages.Those who have read or seen Michael Crichton's Timeline will be interested in seeing Castelnaud (Castelgard in the book) nearby.
