From Col de Balme, you can visit overlook the Chamonix valley and peaks on both sides of the valley. Moreover, you can take a nice stroll to the Swiss borders and have a nice hot chocolate at the Refuge. Weather changes very quickly. On our hike to the Swiss border, it was cold, misty and drizzling.
