I bought a ticket from the machine because it advertises a ski pass, the day before. This place is NOT FOR BEGINNERS. €155 paid and at 8.50am I am refused a refund the lady saying "I cant do that" even though the gondola service opens at 9am and I clearly my wife and I haven't used it. Also no management to speak to just turned away. Machine has almost no info so you might think you know what you are getting. This is for LE TOUR not for the ski slopes which despite being in full view and there is a continuous ski run from this place to the other, You should buy a beginners pass from a ticket office which is completely out of view from the car park or anywhere. People ski from this place to the other seemingly part of the same resort. How would I know that being a learner skiier and never been here before that you get tickets from a small chalet type building (with no sign until you get up to it). The intersport shop jad to tell me where it was (intersport more helpful than the ticket office at Le Tour). Improve signage. Improve computer terminal info. Appreciate good customer service and give a refund (it didnt say non refundable on...

Extremely expensive parking for such a badly equipped resort, €20 for a day. Most of the lifts are ancient button lifts, there are only two chair lifts in addition to the two gondolas from bases. Unfortunately, half of the lifts and slopes were closed on a powder day, so I had to ride the same chair and just a couple of slopes whole day. They didn't even post this to the Chamonix app until 9AM when I already parked and was waiting for the gondola. The restaurants are also very expensive, 9.80 for a beer is a joke. The only good thing was the powder, hence the one additional star (even if it's just a luck and the management of the resort has nothing to...

This was a very nice place to ski for beginners. The views were fantastic! The runs were well-designed and maintained. The queue at the first lift was long, and it was not a pleasant experience to wait. There was no order and a lot of pushing and cutting. The operators were not helping to fill the lift chairs, which would have helped to shorten the line. They could have also stepped in to establish some order. I am still rating five stars because we had a wonderful time otherwise. Also, we only needed to use the first lift one time. In reality, we used it twice, but the second time was by accident. We could have gone to a different lift if we were...

Turn up to the last weekend of skiing and the ticket staff try to charge 50 euro when there is a deal on for 10. It's supposed to be a fun day & they treat people like that. The website doesn't recognise cards purchased the day before (to load a ticket) & the ticket booths don't show an option for picking up tickets that you don't purchase from the machine. Just put a sign there. The guy 'helping' is wearing a clown hat because he couldn't help either of the people before me. Perhaps they think that's appropriate service as they're French? 🤷 The food and dessert at the restaurant near Pousette was excellent & great value.

Domain du Tour is wonderful in summer as it is at winter. There are great walking trails, as well as singles for bikes. Even when it is cold it is recommended to put sun cream on your skin, as the sun rays are reflected from the white snow. The views are incredible and special. The site hosts several cablecars and tele-skis which can be used at summer as well. Check the updating map located at the bottom of the site (or in any station) for updates regarding availability of the cablecar lines. Wildlife is also incredible!!!
