Very comprehensive and informative museum with friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately for non-French speakers, no translations of the display texts or subtitles for the videos. Still very worthwhile to visit for an overview of the historical development of ceramic production in the Desvres area. Fantastic visit. Friendly staff and great shop selling souvenirs and local ceramics. Ein wirklich sehr schönes Museum mit einer modernen und überraschenden Architektur. Die Ausstellung hat eine gut durchdachte Struktur und abwechslungsreiche Exponate und ist ist nicht zu ausufernd. Die Filme geben sehr gute Informationen zur Technik und Geschichte der Fayencerie. Für Kinder gibt es Schiebespiele mit Kacheln und die Möglichkeit eine Grußmail zu versenden. Ein Audioguide in Englisch ist verfügbar. Leider nicht in Deutsch und daher nicht für unsere Kinder geeignet. Das wäre noch eine Optimierungsmöglichkeit. Ein einfaches Spiel für Kinder, bei dem bestimmte Ausstellungsstücke in der Ausstellung gesucht werden müssen und z.B. ein dort vorhandener Buchstabe notiert und zu einem Wort (z.B. der Ortsname) verbunden werden müssen, wäre für Kinder eine spannende Sache und sprachneutral zu realisieren. Insgesamt kann ich die Ausstellung als kurzweiligen Impuls empfehlen, wenn man in der Gegend...
