Lovely spot with beautiful water. About 1/2 mile walk from the road steep gravel path so wear good shoes. It wash lovely and quiet in the morning but started to get busy at 12.00. Given its not a big space it can get crowded quickly.

Caminata para aventurarse! Salimos a pie desde el pueblo de Amélie-les-Bains (previamente pasando por la oficina de turismo donde nos guiaron cómo llegar) La salida del pueblo es bonita ya que vas subiendo y vas admirando la belleza del paisaje rústico del pueblo. Luego te encuentras con las señalizaciones que guiarán hasta la carretera y desde allí empezará la ruta de descenso hasta la cascada. El descenso se puede hacer tranquilamente (con algún tramo complicado por piedras) sin embargo la subida es agitante, recomiendo llevar suficiente agua para hidratarse. Al llegar al lago tienes pequeños senderos para descubrir y explorar la zona, recomendable si vas con tú mascota.

Prendre la D 53 en direction de Montalba d'Amélie. Départ du sentier sur votre gauche. Bien entretenu, difficulté moyenne, une paire de baskets et de l'eau sont conseillé. 20 minutes pour descendre 25 pour remonter, mais ce paysage naturel mérite un peu de marche. Arrivé à la piscine vous pourrez arrêter votre balade la, ou par le côté gauche remonter un peu le Mondony et vous en trouverez d'autres en pleine nature 💕. Un endroit retrouvé et aimé par les Amèliens pour se rafraîchir pendant l'été.

Fabulous area for hiking and chilling. The ruins of an old natural swimming pool. Lovely fresh water flowing in River Montaldy, a tributary of the Tech. Start walk from the Thermes in Amelie Les Bains. Takes 2 -3 hours...
