Our entire photo group was treated to a private tour of Chateau de Cenevieres and allowed the special privilege of photographing; we were even taken into the attic of the castle! Read moreWhat an undiscovered, gem! there were six of us, and we were going down the river on a boat, and stopped for the tour. It was $9 each, $10 if you want a French tour. We’ll worth it. We are English speakers, so they gave us a notebook that we were able to give ourselves the tour from. It is the most amazing small castle, with so much of the original furniture, weapons and family items. Each room was amazing and good stories in the torture dungeon and tiny prison cell. Read moreBE CAREFUL! We drove 85km (170 round trip) to visit this chateau on a Sunday afternoon in August, their website, and Google, said it was open but it was closed for a wedding!! Absolutely no signs anywhere saying it was closed, there were people behind us too, expecting to visit the chateau. Not great for the wedding reception either as we all walked in on their event....
