Corsica Zoo — Attraction in Calvi

I was genuinely impressed by my visit to this zoo! The space is large, well-organized, and what stood out most to me was how well the animals are cared for. It’s clear they receive proper attention, affection, and—most importantly—have plenty of room to move around freely.

The variety of species is impressive and offers a fascinating experience for both animal lovers and those simply looking to relax and reconnect with nature.

The zoo is quite spacious, which made our walk even more enjoyable—we had time to observe the animals, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and spend quality time in a natural and welcoming environment.

The zoo has a enough animals and space that it fills a few hours (afterwards the kids are exhausted from the heat in august anyway).

There is lots of shade areas under trees. Also there are petting farms. Which is a highlight for kids.

At the entrance there is a board showing the feeding times for animals. The feeding of the meerkats was cool. The animals have a lot of space and they look satisfied.

The also have a fast food place which has meals that are good.

Très bon accueil côté boutique et côté snack également frites et beignets d'oignons étaient super. Des choix végétariens avec une salade niçoise sans jambon qui etait très bonne.

Visite faite avec un enfant de 3 ans à pattes et une poussette pour la petite de 1 an et aucun souci de navigation dans tout le parc. on nous a conseillé de laisser la poussette pour la partie avec les renards mais ça passe quand même si on aime les montées type randonnées.

Effectivement il y a pas 300 espèces comme à lyon à la tête d'Or mais on le savait avant de venir et on a quand même passé 3h sur les lieux. Les locaux et enclos sont bien entretenus et les animaux ont l'air heureux. Un des perroquets ARA a été très bavard avec mon fils pendant 10mn et ça a beaucoup amusé ma fille. Ils ont passé tout les deux un bon moment. Les jeux à côté de l'espace snack sont également pris d'assaut par les enfants avant de manger c'est très vivant! Il y a un côté familial qu'on ne retrouve pas dans les grands zoos.

Je recommande aux familles qui veulent passer du temps devant chaque enclos et apprécier d'être loin des villes.

Il y a des arbres tout les 10m sur quasiment tout le chemin pour faire de l'ombre donc très appréciable.

On laisse avec plaisir le pourboire à la sortie et on y reviendra dans quelques années voir...
